Semiconductors have become the backbone of the digital economy and a critical component of technological sovereignty, economic competitiveness, and national security. At the center of this global ecosystem stands Taiwan, whose semiconductor industry occupies a pivotal position in international supply chains. The growing interdependence between advanced economies and Taiwan’s semiconductor sector has elevated the island from a regional industrial hub to a strategic actor at the heart of contemporary geopolitical dynamics.

This webinar will explore  how international crises, have transformed perceptions of semiconductor production from a commercial activity into a matter of strategic security and how  major powers are seeking to reduce vulnerabilities through industrial policies, reshoring initiatives, and diversification strategies.
