Climate change in US military doctrine
For the past two decades, the United States has framed climate change as a national security issues. In 2007, the first recommendation was to integrate the security implications of climate change into the country’s national security, defence, and military strategies. This integration aimed at making defence operations more resilient, efficient, and climate-conscious, while improving operational capabilities for better early warnings against daily climate perils.
