The Middle East is a seismic zone in international relations. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Arab uprisings, the rise and fall of Daesh, and the wars ravaging the region are events with effects felt across the globe.

The Middle East/North Africa programme aims to analyse the multiple developments underway in the region, providing accessible frameworks for understanding to a wide audience. Rejecting culturalist preconceptions, it employs multidisciplinary tools to better identify the key dynamics and points of rupture shaping the region, offering analytical frameworks and contexts for comprehension.

The open exchange of viewpoints on the often sensitive and sometimes controversial issues affecting the region is vital for any citizen interested in global developments. For this reason, the Middle East/North Africa programme seeks to serve as a platform for educational debates.
