Victor Pelpel is Deputy Director of IRIS, responsible for innovation and strategy. In particular, he oversees the direction, coordination and development of new formats for the Institute’s various outputs.
Since 2019, he has worked on major contemporary geopolitical issues, relations between major powers and key conflicts. He contributes to and oversees the scientific coordination of several atlases and publications focusing on international relations and major current conflicts. In particular, he co-authored Geopolitics of Artificial Intelligence (Eyrolles, 2024) with Pascal Boniface. A lecturer at IRIS Sup’, IRIS’s school of applied geopolitics, he works to make geopolitical issues accessible through a wide range of analytical and educational resources.
Victor Pelpel holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Development, specialising in Peace Studies, from Paris Dauphine University.
