The Europe, EU, NATO programme aims to analyse the political, economic and strategic changes taking place on the European continent and to decipher the respective roles of the European Union and NATO in global geopolitical affairs. It draws on studies and consultancy reports, video and audio clips, small-scale seminars, public conferences, and continuing and initial training courses.

The work focuses in particular on: European integration in the field of foreign and defence policy; transatlantic relations; collective security and the role of NATO; the thinking, cultures and strategic priorities of European countries; developments in the international security architecture from the Mediterranean and Black Sea to the Baltic and North Atlantic; concepts of power and strategy; issues related to the geopolitics of energy and the ecological transition.
