Observatory of the Maghreb

The IRIS Observatory of the Maghreb aims to serve as a platform for expertise and analysis on the Maghreb, contributing to a better understanding of the political, social, economic, security, and cultural developments within the region.

The mission of this observatory is to create a multidisciplinary space for debate and to organise conferences, round tables, and symposiums, either at IRIS or in collaboration with other French and international centres and institutions. Its objective is to analyse the crises and conflicts affecting the region, explore potential pathways for progress, and provide insight into the resulting geostrategic challenges.
