Sami Nakib is a Research Assistant at the Observatory on the Geopolitics of Digital Technology and Emerging Technologies and a Data Analyst at IRIS. His work focuses on the geopolitical implications of digital technology and artificial intelligence, which he explores in particular through data analysis and mapping.
Sami Nakib holds a degree in Digital Humanities from Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye. He is also studying for an engineering degree in artificial intelligence at CY Tech.
Before joining IRIS, Sami Nakib contributed to the development of digital analysis tools for media organisations. He also worked in the public sector on the regulation of digital platforms.
