
Alexandre Roussel is a Junior Research Fellow at IRIS within the Energy and Raw Materials Programme, where he focuses on the strategic issues related to the security of energy flows and material supply.
He is a graduate of the engineering school CentraleSupélec and also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford, where he wrote his dissertation on the impact of climate change and the El Niño phenomenon on traffic through the Panama Canal.
Before joining IRIS, Alexandre Roussel completed an internship at the International Energy Agency in the smart grids sector, as well as an internship at the Directorate General for Energy and Climate, working on the renewal of France’s Multiannual Energy Programming (PPE).
