Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Through the recognition of prior learning, it is possible to resume studies (French VAPP) or have one’s skills recognised to obtain all or part of a qualification (French VAE).

The principle of VAPP (Recognition of Professional and Personal Experience) is to recognise the skills gained through experience in order to access training when the required qualifications are not held. It involves taking into account an individual’s knowledge and expertise to facilitate their return to education.

IRIS Sup’ also offers the opportunity to have one’s skills recognised through the Validation of Prior Learning (VAE), in order to advance professionally or shift the direction of one’s career. This system allows individuals to validate all or part of a qualification by demonstrating their past experience.
