What Are the Main Drivers of Member States’ Defence Procurement Practices? The British Case
Director of the Defence, Industries & Society Programme, RUSI
The series ‘What Are the Main Drivers of Member States’ Defence Procurement Practises?’ describes and analyses European Union (EU) Member States’ defence procurement practises, in order to provide an overview and a comparison of the different national choices on this matter. The series helps to understand whether, in terms of transnational cooperation, States tend to favour bilateral cooperation, cooperation on a European scale or cooperation with non-European partners. Finally, the analysis focuses on the impact of the war in Ukraine and other international issues on each country’s national defence procurement policy.
