Pierre Jaillet is an economist, an associate researcher at IRIS, and an advisor at the Jacques Delors Institute – Notre Europe. He is also a professor at IRIS Sup’. A former Director General for Economics & International Affairs at the Banque de France, he was notably responsible for economic studies and relations with European and international institutions (IMF, BRI, G7 and G20, Development Banks). He also served as Special Advisor to the Governor and Chief Representative for the Americas in New York, after holding positions at INSEE, the European Commission, and the International Monetary Fund.

A graduate of Sciences Po, holding a DEA in Economic Sciences and a degree in Sociology, Pierre Jaillet has taught at ENA, ESCP-Europe, and ENSAE. He is the author and editor of numerous publications on monetary, economic, and international issues; a member of the Political Economy Society, the French Economic Science Association, and the Editorial Committee of the Revue d’économie financière; and a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
