Brigadier General (Air Force, Retired) Patrice Moyeuvre is a business consultant and associate researcher at IRIS, specialising in Turkey, with a particular focus on defence and armament issues.

During his 40-year career in the French Air and Space Force, he held operational roles within the Air Parachute Commandos and senior positions in Air Force, joint, NATO, and European Union headquarters. In Turkey, he served twice as Defence Attaché at the French Embassy in Ankara and was appointed as the French Liaison Officer to the Southeast Allied Command in İzmir. He also worked as an air defence coordination officer at the Combined Air Operations Centre No. 6 in Eskişehir.

In 2006, he was deployed to Lebanon as the commander of the air component of Operation BALISTE, and in 2007, he served in Afghanistan as the air advisor to the French Representative for Operation PAMIR.

He is a graduate of the NATO Defence College in Rome, the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INaLCO) in Paris, and Ankara University. He holds two Master’s degrees: one in Public Law with a specialisation in Defence Law, and another in Strategic Crisis Management.
