Louise Souverbie

Louise Souverbie is a Research Fellow at IRIS, specialising in European defence issues and the arms industry. She is involved in the coordination of the ARES Group.

Her work focuses on defence industrial policies, armaments cooperation and the role of the European Union in developing a European defence industrial and technological base.

She is also interested in the strategic cultures and defence policies of Poland, the three Baltic States and the Nordic countries.

She holds a master’s degree in European Affairs from the Institut d’Études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po).

Before joining IRIS, Louise worked as a project officer for the defence attaché at the French Embassy in Lithuania.
