Hadjar Aouardji

Hadjar Aouardji is the Director of Research at IRIS and holds a doctorate in political science from Sciences Po Paris.

Her research has focused particularly on social perceptions of the United States in Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. As part of this work, she conducted extensive field research over several years, notably in Cairo, where she was affiliated with the Centre for Economic, Legal and Social Studies and Documentation (CEDEJ), as well as in Amman.

She has served as Head of the Research and Studies Office at the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN) and as Director of Pedagogy and Innovation at the Institut de l’Engagement.

Hadjar Aouardji has taught at Cairo University, Sciences Po Paris, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, and Lumière Lyon 2 University.
