Professional Training Courses

Employees are increasingly confronted by complexites of globalisation in the context of their daily activities. Political instabilities, economic competition, cybercrime, expatriate security, rising tensions of energy supply… are all elements that are now useful to comprehend in ones professional practice. Since 2001, IRIS has developed evening class training programs; designed to provide the necessary tools to understanding contemporary geopolitical issues.
IRIS has also developed specific training courses “custom-tailored” to suit the needs of the company itself. These training programs are therefore constructed in partnership with the human resources department and with the company’s international branches, and intend to address operative needs, whether more or less urgent.

CONTENT OF TRAINING PROGRAMS
The courses are planned with an objective of direct and immediate utility, especially for those whose professional duties are internationally oriented. Thus, the questions addressed are updated regularly.
Each session lasts 1 : 30, from 6 :30PM to 8 :00PM. The lecturer always begins by presenting facts on the issue being addressed; then spends the last twenty minutes of the session in a discussion with participants.
INSTRUCTORS
The instructors of our programs are experts from IRIS or other research centers, government officials, leading academics or journalists. They all have a great teaching practice.
At the end of the course, the participants receive a certificate of their professional training in the subject taught.
The classes take place at IRIS. (2 bis rue Mercoeur, 75011 Paris / Métro : Voltaire ou Charonne).
PROGRAM FEES
Our professional training programs can be financed by your company, by way of DIF (Droit individuel à la formation), an individual’s right to instruction. They can also be financed individually, in which case IRIS offers you the option of an installment payment plan.
